PostSubject: Kuro's Training Log [Beginner]   Fri Nov 21, 2014 10:53 am

Hi. New member here! Very Happy
I have just taken up calis for 3 months and have not yet achieved much due to inconsistency. So I decide to create this training log to keep track of my progress and make sure that I'm sticking to my routine. Any comments or supports would be my greatest motivation. Very Happy
What I can do for now:
   20 Pushups
   6 Pullups
   9 Chinups
   ~50 BW Squats
1 One-armed Pushups (Feet away though/ Right arm only)
   1-2 Pistol Squats per leg.
   30s Wall Handstand
My goal for the next three months:
   50 Pushups
   20 Pullups
   10 Pistols Squat Each leg
   5 Wall Handstand Pushups

22/11
GTG Pushup: 10x10
GTG Pullup: 8x4
Pike Pushup: 8-8-6 (simply out of energy)

What a pity I can't find 30 minutes for some slow cardio. So busy today.

23/11: Leg and Cardio
Cossack Squats: 4x15 each leg (realized that CS are not the best leg exercise. I would just do assisted pistol squats or high rep squats the next leg session)
Jumping Lunges: 4x20
One-Legged hamstring Raises: 4x10
100 reps skip rope in between sets so 1300 reps of Rope Skipping in total

Just found out that i could do like 3 one-armed pushups, leg apart though. Anyway, the training pays off. And it's just after 2 pushups sessions.

25/11]

Warm up
2' skip ropes

Workout routine
100 Pushups session: 17-15-10-10-9-7-7-8-6-5-6 (31'08)
GTG Pull up: 8x4

So in general less pushup sets but increased time. I will try to improve on time in the next session

26/11

GTG Pushup: 10x10
GTG Pullup: 9x4

Feel an improvement on Push ups. Yet It seems that I'm getting stuck with pullup. Maybe GTG for both push up and pull up is a little too much for me.

28/11

GTG Pullup: 10x4
I could feel an improvement in Pullup. The movement gets more comfortable and less effort is required

Handstand Practice: 3x30s of Wall handstand (3tiles from wall) with 1min rest in between

That's all for today unfortunately.

5x30s Wall Handstand (3 tiles from wall) Feel uncomfortable on my right elbow so I would maintain this at the moment instead of progress.
Pullup: 3-4-3-3-4 1:30 mins rest in between
Pushup: 8-9-6-6-9 1 min rest in between
Partial Pistol: 5x5 2 mins rest in between
Hollow body Hold: 5x30s 1 min rest in between

Returned.

I love Armstrong Program. yet it does not fit my style - too boring I would say. I would prefer more variations.

So I researched and devised my own program, which is based on madbarz routine.

Update Progress: So far I am able to do
Partial Superman Push up
One-armed pushup with Spread feet(right arm only though)
10 Chin up
5 Wide Pull up
15 Straight Leg Raise
