PostSubject: Hi from Long Island   Fri Feb 01, 2013 9:20 am

Just wanted to introduce myself.

I'm 34 years old and weight in at about 172 pounds. I'm married with 3 kids, so time is very important!

I have been eating pretty strict Paleo for about 8 month and have made really good progress (I lost 25 pounds of fat in 2012 without it affecting my lifts, except for calisthenics, in a good way). I still feel like I need to lose a few more pounds of fat, but it seems like I have hit a plateau. I was introduced to IF via LeanGains. I'm still working out the details (calorie requirements) but I have been trying the 16 hour fasting 8 hour feeding window for the past few days. Feels fine to me so far.

I lift following Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program and have made decent gains, slow and steady, with the major lifts.

Last night (2013.01.31) was the first time I tried muscle-ups and I was surprised that I could do them! Not many, but 2 in a row.

I look forward to reading more here and taking my training to the next level.

-Joe

I finally made it here. So much to read, so little time!

I'll be there Sunday. I'm just waiting to hear when exactly and where!
