PostSubject: Adrians Training Log   Tue Oct 23, 2012 7:58 pm

Hey guys, just a quick intro to start things off. I am a 24 year old male and live in Melbourne, Australia.
I am new to callisthenics, and would like to implement this style of training in my routine. In a later post I will state my goals, as I believe it would be a bit premature of me to state them right from the get go.

I am planning on doing Calisthenics based workouts 3 days a week to start things off. I have also begun strength training at a powerlifting gym where the main focus is on squats, bench and dead-lift.

Body:
183cm
93kg

My current stats (calisthenics) are:
Pull Ups = 0
Push-ups = 13
Dips = Yet to test, will do shortly.

Barbell stats:
Squat: 125kg
Bench: 60kg
Deadlift: 100kg

Pull -ups (assisted with bands) 8x3
Australian Pull Ups: 8 x 2

Push-ups
3 x 10
1 x 5

Just a quick workout to get things underway, felt quite fatigued afterwards... I have a long way to go!! Looking forward to making progress!!

I am also going to be posting my weight-lifing training, which is roughly based on the West-side barbell conjugate system.

Cheers Pflmagic!!

A sesh one day sounds like a plan.

Upper Body Speed Day

Speed Bench 8 x 3 60 secs rest @ 50kg
Incline Bench (DB) 5x8 20kg db's
Lat Pull Down 6 x 10

Unfortunately had to end the session early, old recurring shoulder (impingement) injury was rearing its ugly head again. A lack of soft tissue work and mobility at the start of the session was mostly to blame. Disappointed in myself, chose the easy way out and got lazy. MUST DO WHAT IS REQUIRED EVERY SESSION, NO MATTER WHAT!!
