SORE calves only with running : DDDDDDDDDDD

YES! Weirdly, since I've had my Vibram's, my calf muscles have got much much bigger and more defined. I can feel I'm running more on the forefoot, which has made a big difference. After 5km running and 60 x pistols last night, I actually thought they might cramp up on the way to work this morning. Weird.

Pretty much any explosive jumping whether for height or distance will work the calves as well. Running stairs and hills, and hiking and backpacking, especially on steeper trails also really work the calves.
