 HELP!!! 50 push ups and 20 pull ups.

I set a goal of 50 push ups and 20 pull ups by the end of soccer season
which is late October. if you have a routine that you used to get to these then please post it.

50 push-ups is really easy to get. Just do 3 sets of max everyday and your numbers will go up.

20 pull-ups is a different story. Sad I'm stuck at 13-15 right now.

How much do you rest between sets 5 Minutes? an hour? and are you sure it's okay to do it everyday?

hour between sets is damn long, 5mins is ok if the set is heavy

whats your max pull ups now?

anyone tried this?
i am currently on week 2, my max was 5 pull ups before Sad

I can do 11 pull ups and 21 push ups theres one for push ups

When I was in the Army I was stuck at about 55 pushups without stopping and I really wanted to knock out that 82 pushups in a row without stopping to max out my PT test.

What helped me the most was doing a reverse ladder routine with 30 seconds rest between sets.

I did 30-25-20-15-10-5. When that got easy I started from 35 then 40 and so on. Once I was starting at 50 and could go all the way down the ladder easily it was time for the PT test. I did 85 PU in a row and did about 20 more before the 2 min time limit was up. That was about 2 months of doing it at least every other day.

I think for you I would start at 15-13-11-9-6-3 then go to 20-15-10-5

pushups with 60lb vest reps @ 10x1, 15x1, 20x1 etc
