PostSubject: Mastering The Basics   Thu Jun 14, 2012 1:50 am

Hey everyone, I think it's time for me to start tracking my progress while I attempt to master the basics. I definitely think I'm starting to plateau at the moment, so if anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

First workout of my new log will be posted tomorrow.

this log will help you break your plateau.

put down your progress today.

the next time you train, do it better in terms of quality and quantity.

and then write it down again.

be consistent at it.

6-14-12

Pull-ups - 13/8/6/6/7/6
Chin-ups - 8/8/10

Total Pull-ups (including chin-ups) = 72

Dips - 20/15/12/10/10/10 = 77

Squats(40lbs) - 20/20/20 = 60

Push-ups - 40/30/20/15/15/15 = 135

Leg Raises - 10/10/10/10/10/10 = 60 (the first set was toes to the bar and the rest were 90 degrees)

All of this took me about 90 minutes to do and I'm completely dead right now. lol!

I'm about to go take a shower, eat about a weeks worth of food, then go into hibernation mode. Sleep Sleep Sleep Sleep Sleep

Also, since today was really high volume (for me it was) and I won't have much time to workout tomorrow, I'll probably just work on L-sit, tucked planche, and front levers.

6-16-12

Pull-ups - 14/7/6/7/6/7

Chin-ups 10/7/10

Total pull-ups = 74

Dips - 20/16/14/11/11/15 = 87

Squats(50lbs) - 20/20/15 = 55

Push-ups - 10 LOL, I was super tired from the rest of the stuff and my wrist has been hurting lately. Going to do some stretching.

Leg Raises - 20/20/12/10/10/10 = 82
I can definitely do a lot more of these, but my arms were tired so it was hard to hold on to the bar.

Dragon Flags - I probably did around 5 super slow reps. This is the first time ever trying these and I'll definitely do them again. Smile

Push-ups on rings - 10/15/15/14/15/14 = 82

Dragon Flags - 5/3/2 = 10

Great workouts, and great attitude Cody! Like the way you are just counting the pull ups. I'm trying to get my max up (it's like 7 or 8 right now) so gonna try your counting thing - will try and hit 100 next workout Smile

Awesome! Smile

I think I'm stuck at about 14-15 pull-ups right now, so I'm probably gonna be doing 100+ every once and a while and I might start GTG soon. I'm looking forward to your progress!

if you start to feel sharp pain, immediately stop.

always warm up before and stretch after workout.
