I'm right handed, so naturally my right side is stronger. At the moment there is quite a distinct difference.

Is there a decent way to train my weaker side to catch up, or will it happen naturally? I wondered whether my right side would compensate in pull ups and push ups etc as they share the weight, so do I need to isolate my left side to even out?

It will even out eventually as long as you attempt to not favor your dominant side.. I had a shoulder injury in '06 and lost most of left arms muscle mass... I preexhausted my left arm prior to standard exercises(OA Wall Press-ups, OA Body Rows, OA Bench Dips(w/bent knees..) until I felt my left arm was balanced...
