 Advice on where I should start?

PostSubject: Advice on where I should start?   Mon May 28, 2012 6:56 pm

I've been weight lifting for a year now, and for 3 years before that i've done casual exercise. Where would be a good place to start with calisthenics?

Weight: 160
Bodyfat: 11%ish
Height: 5"11

I can do just about every beginner level exercise to somewhere around 100 reps. I just have no idea how to put any sort of routine together, the only Calisthenics I currently do is 30 pullups, 90 situps and 100 pushups in the AM.

Also, would I still have to eat the same amount I do as a weightlifter or is it different with calisthenics?

Hey, welcome to the forum :-)

Have a read through the bar-barian beginners for some basic advice about making routines :-)

For food, well it depends how much you ate when weightlifting, what your current goals are now, and how much you're doing/exercising now...

Thanks for the reply.

My goals are really just to maintain muscle and tone myself because I recently came off a bulking diet. I eat around 3k cals per day. 40%carbs/30%fats/30% protein.

I workout everyday. I just take a day off weights and focus on cardio/bodyweight stuff every 2-3 days.
