PostSubject: Upper abs, not symmetrical   Thu May 03, 2012 12:39 pm

All my life, my abs were symmetrical...
About 50 days ago, i did a realy hard ab workout, and i think i broke
my ab muscles limits... I couldn't even do 1 basic crunch finnishing the
workout... In the workout i did some new exercises, i never did before...
1 day after the workout i felt realy strange in my abs, i couldn't flex them
realy well, and also, in my upper abs, right under the chest, in my right ab, there is something like a bone, it looks to me like a rib bone and my right side, upper ab looks bigger than my left ab... After a day or 2, it was over, but for about 5,6 days after my workout, i had a realy hard inflammation of the muscle... After that was over, i continued doing this workout, almost every or every other day.
Now, it has been like 40-50 days after i first did that workout, and my upper abs are still not symmetrical... Maybe a little less than in the beginning, but im not sure. DId anybody experience something like this before? Maybe its cuz im young, im only 14 years old, so my muscles are only developing side by side or something... But if anybody experienced this, please help... Smile

Ditch crunches.
At your age, focus on strength not aesthetics. I can't give any advice on the issue but through proper and balanced training/diet you can achieve the body you want. Just chill out on everyday workouts on the same body part, especially abs.
