PostSubject: Dragos's Log - from a weak fat a$$ to (time will allow me to modify this)   Mon Apr 23, 2012 6:27 am

Hi guys,

I have decided to cancel my gym subscription (I want to save some money and I was going once a week) and start training outside, using sprints and body-weight movements.

At the moment my weight is 113 kg (249 lbs) at a height of 186 cm (6 ft).

If you'll make a calculus, my BMI level is for obese people. Well, I'm obese and very weak. I can't do any pull-up or chin-up. In a good day, I'll struggle to do 2 push-ups.

I wasn't all the time like this. In January 2010 I've reached the peak shape of my life, at around 87 kg (191 lbs). I wasn't able to do many calisthenics moves but I was pretty content by the was I was looking and feeling at that moment. Also, i was coming down from 120 kg (264 lbs), following a paleo diet and a weight training routine.

After reaching my target, I start to go down again. Alcohol, lots of wasted nights in clubs, skipping the workouts, junk food binge eating (due to lack of sleep) ... and I'm almost close to where I was in 2009.

I'll put some pictures with me in the evening, just to have a milestone from where I'm beginning.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's my plan for getting back in shape:

Week 1, 4 training sessions
10 22 meter sprints, with 1 minute break between them
3 3 min light jogging sessions, with 1 minute break between them
Negative pull-ups - as many as I can

Week 2, 4 training sessions
10 22 m sprints, with a 45 sec break
5 50 m sprints, with a 1 min break
5 3 min light jogging sessions, with 45 sec break between them
negative pull ups - as many as i can
push ups - as many as i can

This will be my training program for the 1st 2 weeks and I'm starting tonight.
