 Fruits and Honey

Well what is ur opinion about fruits and what about honey?

I use to eat honey everyday , well i eat much cause if i want a sweet or something i try to eat honey instead Very Happy

Also i eats fruits everyday usually right after workout. What do u think???

From what i have read it is important to eat fruits before and after training. Especially ones with Magnesium, Potassium, Vit. C... Calcium and iron are of course important..

As for honey, I would believe before training would be great. It is a low glycemic sugar. Bruce Lee used to drink a small vial of Royal Jelly prior to workout and action scenes..

Sounds like you have something solid..

I know that if someone is prone to hair loss honey can speed the process, i think fruit post workout only is the best time.

This is just me, but I'd have 1 tablespoon of honey right before my workout, and two - three servings of fruits with equal fructose and glucose content for their ability to restock muscle glycogen. I.E. Bananas, Oranges, Blueberries, Cherries & Peaches. On the same page with ironloo here, fruits only post workout.

Only raw organic honey. the pasturized crap is no better than table sugar.
