PostSubject: Re: sclarkson1's training log   Fri Apr 06, 2012 8:09 pm

Another friday, another workout. I was working out with a friend of mine at the park, doing various pushups, pullups, some muscleups, climbing, jumping, running and so on and so forth. It was great, my muscles were pumping and I was sweatin like crazy. Then.....

I hurt myself. Here's how, it's pretty funny so if you laugh, I'm laughin too!

So I was doing these new explosive pushups I made up. In this one spot of the playgound, there was a short platform, with two small seperate platforms infront of them. The two platforms were circular, and slightly narrower than the width of my shoulders.
I would go for a bit of depth, explode up and get my hands on the higher platform, doing sort of a incline superman pushup. Then I jumped my hands back and repeated the process.

I started clapping each time I jumped, wich felt awesome, and my freind was pretty impressed. Then when my hands went for the bigger platform, I missed and SMASHED my nose on it. pale

I didn't break my nose, but it was close, and it hurt like hell!

Anyhow, I am gonna workout again tomorow, so have a good weekend everyone! Smile

Did some more hill work, it is very addicting!

Gonna do some more stuff later on. I want to try this challange, so I may do that tonight. Here is challange:

1.Pullups – 25 reps
2.Deadlifts with 135lbs – 50 reps
3.Pushups – 50 reps
4.24-inch Box jumps – 50 reps
5.Floor wipers – 50 reps
6.Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 36lbs Kettlebell – 50 reps
7.Pullups – 25 reps

I dont have a kettle bell, but I do have a dumbell so I will use that instead. This is either the 300 workout, or it is a challange based on the workout, cant remember which. I think it will be fun, and a good way to continue on the week.

So I got through the 300 challange, maybe not as smoothly or as quickly as I would have liked, but I am still proud to say that I did it.

After I had supper, I decided to work out some more, and all I did was some chest and calf training. High volume. Let's see what tomorow brings us........... Twisted Evil
