 How to Increase Push-Ups

PostSubject: How to Increase Push-Ups   Sat Jan 07, 2012 5:11 pm

On monday i do
5 X 20 P.U.

On Thursday i do
5 X 20 P.U.

Will this help me to increase my push-ups Please help. If not then what will?

100 pushups is a good workout. With that being said, I think you should do it more than twice a week. Maybe 3 or 4 times a week. Remember, practice makes perfect.

Grease the grove method the gains will come quick and daily. I did over 1,000 pushups during work i would drop and do lots of sets of 50 but i wouldn't let myself go under 35 reps. Do this throughout the day your reps will go wayyy up just set standards like i did & work within them ex: 35 minimum, 50 maximum next week raise 40/55 ect. When i was doing this my max was 123reps. This year i am going to surpass all my previous reps and records.Hope this helps.

adding weighted chains/weights on your back is an awesome way too... try that along with some of the advice in the articles

Hey thanks for the help. I wasnt sure what grease the groove meant so i searched it and it makes sense. I will start incorporating this to my routine.
Do you think 2 times a week is good or should i go for 3 times a week. Please let me know. Thanks.
