PostSubject: Shoulder pain   Tue Oct 04, 2011 5:34 pm

Hi!

Lately I've been experiencing pain in my shoulders, mostly in the front of the shoulders and in my clavicles. I feel some pain during almost any pushing motion:

*When doing push ups, it's almost nothing and not a problem, but I notice it here too.
*Dips are a no go. Too much pain with full ROM.
*I've been doing bar-dips as a substitute for dips and it's much better, slight pain when doing these.
*Negative muscle-ups are painful but less than dips are.

When I'm doing any of these exercises, it hurts during the movement. When I'm done the pain stops almost instantly.

I might also add that if I stand up and really focus on letting my arms and shoulders hang (like an extra step down lower than normal relaxing) there's slight pain and I notice that something isn't right.

Thanks for any help or comments Smile

A few recommendations:

1. A modified "skin the cat" w/ your feet touching the ground to lessen the intensity.

2. Shoulder circles(Similar to a swimming crawl except arms extended, forward and reverse)while holding a plank position. Do side planks too.

3. Using an exercise apparatus
