PostSubject: Rest between negatives   Tue Sep 20, 2011 2:06 am

I'm new here.
Stats......age 54
Weight 185....height 6'
Pullups 25
Pushups 70+

I am working on two goals at the moment......a muscle up and a true one arm chin up.

I am currently doing alot of negatives.... for example coming down slowly from the top position of a muscle up, but am having some tedonitis issues in the elbow. I also do negatives with the one arm stuff. What kind of schedule should I use between negative sets......once a week or so?....or can you go harder2 or 3 times a week or more with the eccentric stuff?
Also, what is a good concentric exercise for the muscle up for the transition from the pull-up to dip phase?
Are my goals too lofty for my age?
Thanks for the help.
