5000 calories per day. olympic lifts, squats and deadlifts. systematic and heavy. In bed by 10 and cut out/down on the sauce. lol

Not playing around anymore. As long as my life gets and stays stable I will push myself hard.

Cheers!

Johnny 5-

What kind of routine will you be doing to put on so much mass?

25 lbs in 9 months is totally doable- just wondering how you still have time to work to make money ha ha.

thank you bounce

Haha.. yes. work? Well....work sucks!

My old routine:

5 days straight a week and rest 2 days on the weekend. train hard at the gym for about 1hr 1/2.. High intensity and always pushing hard. training technique and highest reps possible. 60+ reps on dips and pushups 20-30 reps on pull ups. I might do 1000 reps in a workout!

My new routine:

4 days a week, 1 day on followed by 1 day off.

Train compound total body movements followed by a rest day. During my training I will focus on low rep high weighted movements, 5-8 reps sets maybe do 100-150 reps in my workout all heavy and progressive. mix in static holds and super slow reps, building muscle time under tension.

heavy squats, dead lifts, Dips, pull ups. pushups,

Eating a balanced diet around 800 calories 6 times a day...

every 2 weeks I'll throw in some explosive power movements, sprintng and agility work to keeping up on the athleticism.

All I need is my personal life to get settled.. rendeer

187lbs. Whats the use of gaining weight if you're not gaining muscle or increasing strength?

Don't worry I'm working on that also. It's not easy.

October's video 187lbs 13.5% Bf Official: 184lbs
Up 7 lbs minus 3 lbs give or take for water weight and up 1 % Bf from last month. I'd give myself 3lbs of muscle for this month.

Will have to shoot legs next time.

Hoping to salvage this month and reach this months goal of 190lbs..

Need my home life to calm the hell down so I can get some sleep and stay focused.

Today was push ups day

I'm working on getting my pyramid in as fast of time as possible. And most importantly with great form. I could do these all in one set, but that's not the point. I touch a baseball at the bottom with every rep and I get full extension at the top.

2-4-6-8-10-10-8-6-4-2 60 push ups / great form

8/10/11 - 2 min 38 sec

10/15/11 - 1min 53 sec

11/6/11 - 1 min 47 sec

I've made pretty good progress so far. So I'm now increasing the pyramid to.

2-4-6-8-10-12-10-8-6-4-2 72 pushups / great form.

11/6/11 - 2 min 18 sec

Finished today's workout with 55 coonsecutive push ups

1 min 23 sec

damn I'm off again.

Life keeps throwing me curveballs. In wake of the Penn State scandal. I've recently taken up the cause against child sex abuse. I've been so busy lately my training has taken a back seat.

I will start back up again on Monday!

Total body circuit today.

Not looking forward to the holidays. Work, family and visiting conflicts with normal training times. Weird meal times and travel keeps my program off balance. I hope everything settles so I can pick up where I left off.

Back to 180lbs. Lost everything I gained.
