PostSubject: Tampa, FL Parks   Sun Sep 18, 2011 6:54 pm

I have seen some old posts requesting info. of parks in FL w/some pull-up, parallel bars, etc. Here are some I utilize here in Tampa, FL..

Macfarlene Park(On Macdill Ave near I275)
-Standard exercise course (pull-up bars, handwalk bars, monkey bars)
-Jungle Gym
-Many non-standard structures for creative purposes

Bayshore Blvd.
-Standard exercise course Bars

Westchase Park(Countryway)
-Jungle Gym

Westchase Park(Linebaugh & Montague)
-Exercise Course w/Pull-up tower
-Great Jungle Gym(In my opinion)
-Non-standard structures

There are many more parks in Trampa that I have not visited that I am sure are worthwhile. I hope this post serves someone well..

Anyone know of any in Seffner, Mango or Brandon?
Is driving around and looking for them the best way to find them? It doesn't seem like much info is listed on-line as far as what is at the County Parks.

It looks as if Mango Recreation Center(11717 Clay Pit Road
Seffner, FL 33584) and Seffner Civic Center(1209 South Kingsway Road
Seffner, FL 33584) have playgrounds.

In Brandon
Davis Park (612 Parsons Avenue Brandon, FL 33511)
Heather Lakes Park(1850 Winding Wood Avenue Brandon, FL 33511)
Paul Sanders Park (3319 Kings Avenue S. Brandon, FL 33511) Sterling Ranch Park(2323 Providence Ridge Blvd Brandon, FL 33511)
Tony Saladino Park (1705 Bryan Rd Brandon, FL 33511)

All of them say they have playgrounds. As for fitness courses, I am not sure. They dont always mention them.

Thanks Masaru, I'm gonna visit the above three and see what they have.
I can report back.

Davis Park has a field with pull up bars, dip bars and more.
The other two just have swings.
