Thursday August 23rd 2012:

Built the new power tower and my rings got here. Did a workout including front lever pulls, super wide grip pullups, one arm emphasis chinups, one arm pushups, rows, bridges, L-sits, ring pushups, dips, and leg raises on rings and dip bars

Notes: My skills on the speed rope are definitely starting to improve. My turnover rate has gone way up and I got my first criss-crosses today. Still gotta work towards double unders and more challenging foot combinations

Notes:

Front lever form is improving although my reps dropped a bit. My shoulders are also starting to come back into place as my rhomboids and rear delts get stronger, so I'm continuing to do a lot of rowing work to hit them hard. My left shoulder has some catching up to do though, as my right is closer to being in place.

15sec bridge hold (hamstring cramp)

MIxed work with speed rope, lunges, and rows

Notes: Gonna move the rings down another full ring height to make one arm chin progressions harder. Front lever form continues to improve, so I should have a full hold within a month or two. Also gonna keep hitting rows hard to bring my shoulders into place fully, as well as add in more leg work now that my knees can take it and I've got some of my base strength back.

Notes: Changed up my ring grip on the pushups to try and lean forward more. I also got my first double unders on speed rope today, though they're still very sloppy.

First ultimate frisbee practice, 8-10 pm. Lots of people winded on the field, but I was fine cause of the conditioning I've beendoing


Sunday September 22nd 2012:

Ultimate frisbee practice 12-2pm. HIghlights: Getting some good D's, my throws have improved a ton, and I can now cut extremely quickly without getting winded.

Sorry about the little disappearance for a while, I just started up school again. My shoulder health has also been improving greatly over the past week, and I've been stripping off fat as well. Should be a good year for ultimate frisbee now that I've gotten rid of my injuries (hopefully for good) and I've gotten really athletic.

Ultimate practice 12-2pm. Really hot out, but I still managed to get some good points in. Got some nice D's, good cuts, and handled decently.

Notes: I'm losing my L-sit ability a little bit, although I continue to get stronger in other areas. Not sure if it's just a lack of training, or the fact that I'm on a cut, or because the back side of my body continues to get stronger as I bring my shoulders into place. Gonna try and get it back.
