PostSubject: Rate my training routine? and would this work in my later years?   Fri Sep 02, 2011 8:05 pm

Hey everyone im new here and wanted to see if my routine would work in the long term.(of course always progressing to harder exercises) but would doing my routine allow me to recover well enough after i am older(40+). p.s. Im 15 so i have a quick recovery i guess, so it has worked well so far but was just curious what you guys think. p.s.s. sorry for my crappy grammer im kinda grammered out(just finished englsh homework XP)

But anyway enough of the long post heres my routine

Mondays,Wendnesdays, and Fridays
Upper body calisthenics for one hour focusing mostly on 1 arm movements and statics
then about 30 minutes of practice of muscle ups, handstands, etc.
and then about 20 mins of boxing

Tuesdays,Thursdays, and Saturdays
Lower body calisthenics for one hour focusing mostly on one leg movements , statics, and explosive movements

Then a cardio session of about 40 minutes consisting of biking and jogging

So thats pretty much it and hope i can keep doing this throughout my older years Laughing
