Greetings,
Thought I would use the opportunity to further motivate myself:).
I've been practicing capoeira for quite some time now, though recently decided to improve my strength and endurance a bit.Smile For the moment I try to get my reps in as little sets as possible and with as little rest as possible. My goal would be to perform my current strength endurance workout without any rest whatsoever, and then to progress to some harder moves that would contribute to my capoeira game.

Mon/Wed/Fri

30 min. jogging
50 handstand push-ups
100 pushups
50 dips
25 pull-ups
100 sit-ups
5 mins plank (20 sec elbow plank followed by 10 pushups)
100 cocorinha squats

Tue/Thu/Sat

30 min. hill running
30 min. capoeira floreio work/kicks
30 min. plyometric (explosive) workout/parkour workout

Thanks!
We did tons and tons of HSPUs in capoeira, and as a result I can do ~30 in a row. Yet, my pulling strength sucks big time and I still struggle at 6 pull-ups... Smile

Well, there are plenty of methods, some better than the other, though almost everyone will produce results if you put your mind to it. Smile
At the beginning we used to simply kick into handstand (at first it was more like 45 degrees than straight up), switch legs at the top and come back. With time we added little holds and built up on them.
One thing for sure, if you want to learn handstand you have to practice freestanding handstand. There are no substitutes - only hard work and dedication:).
