Love this work out, did it in 43 mins first time, and 38 mins second... and that was with boosting the Pull/Chin-ups to 80 (total) Very Happy

Awesome time - well done! Glad you liked it. The great thing about it is you can add/decrease reps to suit your level and you can even do it with a weighted vest on!

Yeah, on occasion, just to mix things up. I've added 5 reps to everything now though.

Metin does this with the 70lb vest on!

Hello, I did this workout for the 2nd time today. I like it very much because it is a challenge to go through and it uses long set. Today it took me 57min, last time it was 60min. For chin and pull-up it's easy but for dips and push up it is very hard for me and quickly I must use short rest. Is it wrong to use sort rest ? Do I have to take longer rest between the sets to not use it (then it will take for me 2 hours to do this work out lol) or do I have to keep use it ?

I tend to have no rest (well time enough to move on to the correct bit of equipment) during the sets, but have 2-4 mins between each complete set. Used to take me about 45 mins Smile

Great workout started off doing 20 down to 10 push ups and have been increasing by 2 every week - beginning to find the pull up routine a bit easy though so increasing that as well. Adaptable with easy to see results couldn't ask more. Thanks

I did this routine too but i did some changes. i added HeSPU instead of pushups and i did 7reps x 10sets of the four basics!

Dip 150 (this was 15x10)
Wide pullup 7x10
HeSPU 7x10
Chinup 7x10

I did 7 reps and 10 sets because good form is important!
It was intense! o.O

Just did it this morning and it is definitely one I am going to use more often. I did 30/10/15/10 for the rep scheme. I'm going to play around with the reps for the next time I do this, but a great one, thanks!

Damn man I did this, the push ups and tricep dips for my chest/tri workout yesterday and my chest hasn't been this sore in a while. I'm stoked on this because I never got much out of push ups, I'd do maybe 100 and feel like I was done but doing this made me realize if I give myself enough rest time between sets I can still knock out lots of push ups and get a LOT out of it. I had to drop down from 24 to 20, then down from 20 to 16, so only ended up doing 212 push ups but I've been stoked on this, thanks man!

I' am new to this forum and I tried this routine it is verry tiring. Especially because i was originally doingt stuff like bench press with reps between 10-12. However at the moment I want to try some new stuff. I hope my muscels are sore tomorrow. Thank you verry much for the advise.

I'M just starting back bodyweight training.

Just did

Push-ups - 20/19/18/17/16/15/14/13/12/11/
Pull-ups - 5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5
Dips - 10/9/8/7/6/5/5/5/5/5
Chin-ups - 5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5

So total:

155 push-ups, 50 pull-ups, 65 dips and 50 Chin-ups

It tooks me 50 mins to complete this hardcore thing.

I had forgot how hard the back is trained with theses types of training. I'm sure this will help my back to skyrock grow.

i really like the workout, but i wonder, is it okay to do breaks between the, for example, pull ups and push ups.

lets say i do 10 pull ups, can i then take a 15 sec break then go on push ups, and keep on like that till i finish 1 set. then i take 2 min or more between the sets. or is that to much?

because my workout was something similar to this before, and it worked really great for me, so i will try this.

Yes, it's fine to rest like that. With a workout like this you then have a two fold aim, 1) increase the reps, 2) lower the rest Wink

This is a really good workout, I love how it keeps coming back around all the time Smile

Prior to discovering this forum i considered myself reasonably strong however this routine is crazy! cyclops

I just tried this with the rep scheme 30/10/15/10. with no rest between excercises but 2-3minutes between sets. although after the 4th or so set i started resting between excercises. I only made the 8th set and couldnt perform another pull up and that was in about 45 to 50ish minutes. didnt officially time it.

The fact some of you guys are completing this in 45 mins and with even more reps is borderline insane! Shocked Because of this i am alot more interested in the benefits of bodyweight training

I am going to work on this and will eventually complete it. What a Face

My first post here, i'm soon going to write a presentation of myself in the introduction forum

Btw just want to say that this is a MASSIVE routine! Did it yesterday for the first time and ended smashed but with a good time (i think!) of 28'54" including the rests. I just did the dips between 2 chairs because at home i still don't have the parallels. In fact i'm looking for buying a power tower as soon as possible.

I've just discovered this forum not long ago but it's become the primary is source of inspiration for me.
