so far the best training i've found is practice, practice lots, and practice even more...

Start off by doing pike presses and training against a wall.

As soon as you can get a solid 15-20 sec hold against the wall do sets of wall handstands until you hit 5 mins of handstanding (in as many sets as you take with 1-3 mins rest during the handstand). Finish off with a few sets of handstand pushups and throw in some static holds during it.

It will come eventually, but it will take time. When ever you can jump into a handstand (against a wall) and eventually you'll be freestanding Smile

Spend lots of time on your hands. Prehab, joint prep, mobility work to open the shoulders. Chest to wall handstand holds with the wrists very close to the wall(within a few inches at most). Frogstands help as well. Again, spends lots of time on your hands. There is no substitute for time on your hands. In the beginning 4-5 sets of 10-20s holds with 60s rest will be plenty. As your joint prep and strength increases, you can play with more volume/intensity.
