Does anyone do these exercises? I am always looking for ways to strengthen my core. Just curious.

nah, i don't do anything like that! and i doubt that many people on here do either.

dragon flags, hanging leg lifts, l-sits, bycycle kicks, L to V sit, windshield wipers, L-sit kicks, knee raises etc.......all strengthen abs / core

I have never done a "dead bug" exercise and usually stick to planks, etc. I had just read an article in Muscle and Fitness where Brock Lesnar says that he despises the dead bug workout more than any because it kills his core. He does it continually for up to 6 minutes. Sounded like a killer workout but I had never heard of it.

Stick to planks then do basic progressions of hanging leg raises after 1-2 weeks of planks.!

just my side of the coin; i have also done this and some of my muay thai friends swear to those type of exercises. build great tension and do kill the core. some of these exercises are harder than planks etc. i hold planks over 2 mins (i never aimed for more) and can also add some weight to them. but some of those holds rly fry the core.

if u like them, try them. doesnt mean u cant still do all the rest. lol
