 a question about pull ups

PostSubject: a question about pull ups   Sun Apr 17, 2011 5:50 pm

What are considered to be regular pull ups in this comunity?
I am always doing deadhang or break the "L" pull ups dont realy know how they are called, but ive been reading a lot of posts and there has been mentioned regular pull ups, so what are they ?

Well as i know regular pull ups called the pull ups in about shoulder width , almost deadhang and chin go just above the bar.

The different between deadhang and regular pull ups are than when u go deadhang u lose all or almost all momentum that created but in regular u use a bit after the 1st set (momentum no kipping or something else)

Hope it helped , in case i m wrong in something please someone with more experience plz correct me

Actually read some articles in the internet that doing a completely dead hang pull up is actually bad for the elbows. But, I still do them anyway T.T

Sorry, but I don't really know the difference. Although I'd have to agree with stratos on this one based on my personal opinion
