I just posted a dip tutorial that includes an article and video. Turns out there are a lot of variations on this simple bodyweight exercise. How bout that s**t? Smile

Great tutorial Al, there are a lot of variations, i prefer parallel dips, and bench dips but the straight bar dips look like it would be pure shoulders and lower chest i will have to do those more seems like the only time i do them is after muscle ups i never tried them all out in sets. But those korean dips look unnatural for the shoulders i never tried them but do you think they help.

I think Korean dips can be safe after you have gotten very comfortable with all other types of dips and your shoulders are strong enough for it. I guess it's like back lever but with different hand position. I tried them once but didn't feel too comfortable so I backed off. I don't think they're unnatural though i've seen many performers do a version of them (if you look at the famous Etchno video he does like a korean dip/back lever type hold then -- beastmode -- rises up into a handstand, guy is a monster though)

IronLoo - I haven't had any shoulder issues from doing Korean dips, but they are definitely not for beginners. Like Disembowelment said, they are a good exercise to compliment your back lever practice. Try them and see for yourself. They take a lot of strength and stability!
