| hi everybody, at the moment I can do 4-5 clean handstand push ups til the head touches the floor. Are there any ways to encrease the reps?? til now I only did 4-5 sets handstand push ups, sometimes I stop before the head touches the floor and do higher reps of 6-10. So how can I get more strength in the shoulders? |

| Are you doing them with the wall or without? I'd try doing a lot of sets with closer hand position (the closer the hands the harder it gets) do them slow and really controlled (2 or 3 reps). Also try going down all the way and just holding it there a few times at the end of your routine.
The other day i was doing pushups with my hands by my waist, cant remember what they're called, but if you make it hard enough (by leaning forward as much as possible) it will kill the shoulders. |

| ouh I´m doing them with the wall! yeah that seems to be a good idea, i will try that in my next workouts with the holding position at the lowest point! thanks for your quick post;) |

| if u have time u could also try to go for 3 reps every 15 or 30 minutes for some time. or do 4x3 reps 3 times daily..
gtg style or just go lower reps and more sets static holds too yes |

| lower rest, static holds, different hand posistions, push variations, half reps, full reps, just go all out |

| yeah thanks, I think that´s the best idea. hope to do 10 of them in a few weeks! so I will train on them... |

| If you wanna increase your handstand push up number easily and without a lot of work, do GTG. If you want to get stronger overall, follow Metin's advice and kill your body haha. |

| Do a small set of about 5 reps every time you feel fresh, all day long. If you can't get 5 do however many you can comfortably do every couple of minutes. Just do them every time that you feel you can do the reps with clean form. |
