PostSubject: My training routine!   Sat Sep 25, 2010 5:29 pm

hi everybody, at first I have to say that all of you inspire me so much. Since I saw something about the bar barians, I wanted to do those amazing skills, so I want to post my workout routine here and hope to get some feetback of you, if I can get the most out of me with this programm.

Monday:
20-30 min running
after that I do 4-5 sets of lunges
after that I do something for core strentgh, like leg raises, l-sit, v-sit try...

Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday:
my upper body workout:

4 sets of muscle ups
5 sets of pull ups (all variations)
5 sets of handstand push ups
3-4 sets of dips
3 sets of deep push ups with the parallettes
4 sets with the ab wheel

Wednesday:
leg training:
4 sets of lunges
3 sets of deadlift
core strentgh:
leg raises, l-sit/vsit try...

Saturday:
30 min running
3 sets of deadlift
core strentgh

So what do you say about this routine. Or would it be better to split my training in another way... Send me your opinions, that would be very helpful!

Mhmm.... Well, I'll give you some suggestions.

Monday - legs add squats (or one leg squat if you can do) 4 sets and calf rises burning supersets no rest just do them till you calf burns as fire. And finish your workout 10 min running.

Tuesday - upper body pull up pyramids many variations. Don't forget to hang a lil on the bar before and after your workout. It's important for your back muscles and spine.
Wednesday- core killing your abs with dragon flags, l - seat hold on the bar or parrallel bars, plank hold leg raises and etc.
Thursday leg training just legs take out core.
Friday push ups - dips pyramids or super sets many variations
Saturday core supersets
Sunday - rest easy running warm ups - cool down exersices.

I recall that this is my suggestions which could be usefull for you.
Stay strong.

Nah, pyramids or supersets will burn you down believe me. And it depends which type of pull up, push up variations you'll do. Oh, one more useful tip - add weight when you do pull ups - dips. It will increase your numbers. And remember that everything needs time a lot of time. Be patient.

yeah sometimes I do pyramids and today I started with supersets, I think it really works.
when I do dips I always add weight up to 40 kg.
I will do that with pull ups the next times I think! but with less weight of course...
