I'm now always working dips on the straight bar because I don't have paralle near and I don't like to work at home with chair. Do you know if it is changing something or not. When I start to be burn I feel my shoulder are blowing. Is it puting more work on the shoulder than normal dips ?

alot more shoulders and chest, but it dont hit the tricep.. maybe a little.. do some close handstand push ups for your tricep .. same with handstand push ups if u put ur elbows out it only works the shoulders and the back and the idontknowhatitcalledlol.. make sure you do everything

Different versions of dips work different muscles in varying degrees. With a straight bar, you can do those dips and you can also do korean dips. Check them out. Like LBM said, it's good to have variety

Ok thanks you. I understand. When my lower back will be better, I have some pain this time so I can't curve, I will try it. I suppose it hit much the triceps. And I go straight on try these close handstand push up.
Thank you again.
