Next time I do this I will time it. My shoulders were done for after this. Like the back of the delts. I think that was from holding that phorm pull up even though I barely had it. Legit as hell routine I bet its even tougher with strict time management.

Do u think guys this static routine can substitute high rep training???

i mean if i do the static routine on every training, my endurance will be as good as if i do a lot of reps of pullups?

for example: 15 sec pullup hold = 10 pullup???

I like high reps training...but it wont give me the strength on the long way...

I did this routine 2 times with less rest yesterday and now i only feel my back of the shoulder, not my arms.

Could help me what i should do to hit arms with this routine better? i think i did something wrong.

thanks in advance

Could be you just over did it to cause the rear deltoid to be sore. Also, could be those muscles are not up to par (strength/endurance) with the rest of the muscles in that area, so this may help to balance out strength in shoulder area.

As for not having soreness in your arms, no big deal there. Soreness, is not neccessarily a sign of growth or strength. Your arms are probably in very good "shape" so you don't feel it so much afterward. No worries though, if you did the routine as instructed, then your arms got worked!. Your rear delts may have never gotten that hard of a workout before, so, they are sore.

Just keep doing the routine as strict as possible, form, time, everything. Once you got it down, you can increase reps, hold times or use weight vest, etc..

For now, just focus on doing the routine as strict as possible. It will take care of everyhting for you.

This is a satisfaying answer. Thank you very much!

Did this today. But skipped # 5. Not quite sure how these soldier pull ups are supposed to be executed, as far as the shoulder is supposed to touch?

Please explain... Thanks

Rather starting facing the bar, stand perpendicular to the bar,

grab the bar 1 hand pull up grip, 1 hand chin up, then do a pull up. You will naturally only be able to pull to one shoulder.

Sorry, that's a bit of a poor explanation, :/ i'll think of something better later,

Great explanation! I usually call em "mixed grip" pull ups

Did this today. Nice workout. Though, I forgot to switch the grip without going down at the soldier pull ups. Rolling Eyes
