PostSubject: no permanent shoulder pain   Fri Jul 30, 2010 11:43 pm

hi guys i have a problem with my left shoulder. i feel a pain in it when i put stress on it. i hope you understand me. everytime i want to press with my left arm i feel the pain.

if i do nothing i don't feel any pain. i don't know if i injured my shoulder some times ago. the pain also appears when i work out after a lot of regeration time (for example 1 week).

so i speculate that i overtrained my shoulder (but after a week rest i think it should be fine), or i have some kind of
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigger_point in it.
I also read in this forum that maybe some special muscles in my shoulder are weaker than other and so there is a muscular dysbalance.

what do you think? do you have any experiences with that?
I think i should see a doctor next week.

thx

Give it a little time like you said, a week minimum. Rest it up, don't work it. If you feel pain when doing something, stop immediately. Maybe you could ice it if it's sore. After a week or so, try some low intensity exercises to test your shoulder, if you feel the pain hasn't changed, I'd see a doctor.

Good luck and get better!

thx guys i will do it. in my last workout i did only pulling movements no pushing and i didn't feel pain. i guess it's depending of which exercises i do. I have problems with tuck front lever and hanging leg raises and other exercises with straight arm work.

at first i don't do these exercises and try other things. in a few weeks i will have my rings. Very Happy
